Sarrah Topiwala, Assistant Manager & Records Lead

Sarrah achieved her master’s degree in Public Health from Benedictine University and her bachelor's degree in Biology from Northern Illinois University. Before pursuing her master's degree, she worked as a quality control lab technician ensuring that all received products met the high standards of the lab in which she worked. While working on her master's program, Sarrah interned in records management and data entry for a clinical research company. With her sharp eye for detail, Sarrah meticulously manages records to ensure accuracy, organization, and clarity.She is originally from Illinois and now resides in Seattle. She is an avid reader, enjoys traveling and is a licensed scuba diver. Her favorite travel destinations have been Egypt, Sri Lanka, India, and Mexico.

Hannah Sarquilla, Records Coordinator

Hannah is concurrently pursuing her bachelor's and master's degrees in Public Health with a specialty in Nutritional Health and Dietetics at The University of Washington. Initially intending to study nursing, Hannah was inspired by her own health journey and developed a passion for nutrition and wellness. After graduating, she hopes to work as a nutritionist with a focus on working with young people to encourage them to participate more actively in conversations about their health and wellbeing.

Utilizing her patience and organization skills to meticulously sort records and manage an intensive course load, Hannah is diligent in ensuring that each task is completed to the best of her ability and in a timely fashion. 

​

In her free time, Hannah enjoys exploring different cuisines, taking nature walks, and baking. Her go to recipe is chocolate chip cookies, but she has been experimenting with filled cookies. She also enjoys crime shows and documentaries. Hannah is a Seattle native and resides in West Seattle.

Lujain Abushhiwa, Records Coordinator

Lujain is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Law, Societies, and Justice at the University of Washington. Born in Libya and raised in Seattle for the majority of her childhood, Lujain’s diverse background has shaped her passion for equality, justice, and civic engagement. With aspirations of attending Law School, she has a dream of one day working within the Supreme Court, contributing to meaningful social and legal change.

Known for her strong attention to detail and organizational skills, Lujain approaches her academic and personal commitments with diligence and care. She takes much pride in producing thoughtful and thorough work, valuing the importance of precision in every task she attends to.

In her free time, Lujain enjoys baking and cooking for her family and friends, often experimenting with new recipes. Currently, her favorite sweet treat to make is Baklava. She also has enjoyment in exploring the beautiful scenic views of Seattle and spending quality time with those she loves.

Emily Espiritu, Records Coordinator

Emily is a born and raised Seattleite. She achieved her bachelor’s degree in history and Global Politics from Washington State University. Her previous experience is in political fundraising, where she managed donor records and helped with campaign events. She also worked with the WSU History Department where she managed the office and oversaw the alumni database. Emily has a keen eye for managing records and databases that makes her excellent as a records coordinator. She’s interested in civic and political engagement and working for the Department of the Interior, for the National Parks Department.  Her hobbies include farmers markets, paddleboarding, and spending time with her cat Jilly.
